Nothing says summer like hanging in the park ALL THE TIME! Between the tight-rope-walkers and acrobats at Parc La Fontaine, the drum circles of Jean-Meance Parc and the BBQ-ing families at Parc Laurier, we are spending as much time in the sun as we can (weather permitting). Now we can throw in a pinch of iambic pentameter with our sun screen with Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by Repercussion Theatre.
Celebrating 25 years of bringing Shakespeare performances to Montreal parks, Repercussion Theatre’s summer tour of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” runs from the 4th of July through to the 4th of August all across the city’s parks.
This family friendly event has something for everyone, lovers, mistaken identities, men in makeup, magic & fighting fairies. And all this comes with a charitable cause: non-perishable food items will be collected for local food banks.
So bring your lawn chairs or rent them out to support the theatre and the production, and have a bit of classic culture in the sun.
