Zoofest is back until July 28th, offering a wide range of eclectic and multidisciplinary shows; including Slam, Stand Up, Theatre, and Music.
Some shows at Zoofest explore themes that are not meant for sensitive souls. Cameryn Moore is back on stage until July 21st with her second autobiographical sex-themed show Slut (R) evolution. This time around Cameryn is exploring other themes than in her award winning show Phone Whore with a Smut Slam approach.
If you’re into interactive theater, Gerard Harris, Shane Adamczak and Holly Gauthier-Frankel will be showcasing Let’s Start a Country from July 13th until July 20th at Theatre la Chapelle. An interactive theatre comedy in which the script evolves with the input of the audience. You will be invited to play a game of direct democracy with the cast.
For the Burlesque lovers, Cherry Typhoon & The Lady Josephine’s Bad Ladies and the Detective will be on from July 9th until July 12th at Café Cléopâtre. “Bad Ladies and the Detective” is a neo-burlesque experience : the audience follows the detective in this tale where themes such as techno-dependence and surveillance are explored.
On the musical front, you will be able to enjoy anything from Rock Garage to Neo Soul, and Jazz. Make sure not to miss Mathilda Kamuena on July 9th, 10th and 14th at Theatre Ste-Catherine.
The Franglos a comedy show presented by Francophone comedians is presenting on July 7th, 14th, 17th, and 21st: how much more representative of Montreal’s diversity can you get?
